Challenge: Early pioneer (1995) in on-line weather reporting.
Needed to create a top of the line weather Web site with automatic graphs,
plotting, live video feed, and satellite image representation.
Solution: Developed custom applications that gathered weather
related data and automatically created graphs and charts to be accessed
by on-line viewers. Act as an off-site Webmaster to assure system reliability
even during severe weather warnings with more that 1M hits per day.
Created a caching solution to improve the performance of this award
winning site.
