Sounia Nejad Chaney is the Co-founder, President and CEO of ChainLink Networking Solutions, Inc. located in Vail, CO. The company was established in 1995 to offer Internet software development, Web technical consulting, and engineering services. The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Business Journal selected her company as a Best of Business Award finalist in May of 1997 and a winner in May 1998.
She is very committed to giving back to her community by serving as:
  • American Heart Association Mid-Atlantic Region Board of Directors (2002-2005)
  • The University of Virginia's Northern Virginia Center Advisory Board Member (2003-2005)
  • The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (2000-2004)
  • International Informix Users Group Board of Directors (1999-2003)
  • Vice Chair of the Fairfax County Small Business Commission which reports to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors (1998-2000)
  • Co-Chair and Captain of the business Matchmakers Committee at the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (1997-2000)
  • Member of the Virginia Joint Commission on Technology to develop the Virginia Technology Blueprint (1997-1998)

She has also participated in many expert panels discussing technology and entrepreneurship issues such as the Metro Talk radio program.

In April 1999, she was selected as a Direct Service Volunteer in Technology award winner by the Volunteer Center of Fairfax County.

She holds an MIS degree from George Washington University. And, she is a member of the Leadership Fairfax class of 2001.

Michael Chaney is the Co-founder, Technical Director and CTO of ChainLink Networking Solutions, Inc. located at Vail, CO. The company was established in 1995 to offer internet software development and technical consulting services. The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Business Journal selected ChainLink as a Best of Business Award finalist in May of 1997 and a winner in May 1998. Mr. Chaney has appeared at a number of conferences as a featured speaker and has been quoted in industry publications as a technology expert. He has an expert level knowledge in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, PHP, WebSphere, ColdFusion, Perl, SQL, DHTML, and Flash. Mr. Chaney has been instrumental to the successful launch of web imitative for clients such as NBC, Seattle Times, and the Stargazer foundation. He has supported companies like AWS to create successful products like the WeatherBug and has created innovative products for his company like the ChainLink Universal Instant Messenger and the ChainLink Halo. For his outstanding contributions to the technical community, Mr. Chaney has been hand selected as a trusted resource within IBM to represent the elite IBM Gold Consultants.

Hobbies include: Family activities, karate, motorcycling, outdoor activities such as skiing and in-line skating, blues guitar, and the internet.
